In this book, S. H. Mathews explores the theological foundations of church spiritual formation programs, and constructs diagnostic tools to evaluate their effectiveness across three domains. The author argues that spiritual formation programs should be evaluated on the basis of their ability to increase participants' knowledge of the Christian faith, their motivation to practice spiritual disciplines, and their perception of the effectiveness of the disciplines in their lives.

Kiba poetry's various applications in the African initiated churches, especially the Zion Christian Church, is immensely explored, revealing that without Kiba poetry this ecumenical institution remains incomplete, and so is the South African poetry landscape.

The Anglican Church was extending to Africa by exploration and arrival of missionaries in Uganda. Apolo Kivebulaya was sent to evangelise Boga-Congo, and maintained the Anglican Church presence until the day she was recognised official as diocese in 1972 after 76 years of hard labour in the faith. The diocese of Bukavu was founded without any preparation and income to start a diocese. Ndahura Bezaleri, first bishop had a big worry for the development of diocese in all domains, but he died prematurely. Bishop Dirokpa succeeding him did a hard work to expand the Anglican Church in all Congo. The establishment of the Anglican Catholic Church in Congo was a result of avoiding the liberalism theology's teachings that promote women ordination. The work of Church Missionary Society in the diocese was seen as a help for their brothers in mission not for the work of God. The Church's leaders still working without any income and self- sufficient projects, and people are poor. They walk to visit the parishes, work very hard, and live without wages. To have a strong parish, we need to make many development projects, which can enable the church to be self- financing (generating income projects)
There is limited data on the quality of life of individuals who exercise in a group versus individuals who exercise alone. The purpose of this study was to determine if there is a difference in the quality life between adults who attend an exercise class and those who exercise alone. Using the WHOQOL-BREF, 27 adult females were surveyed in Central California at two Church of Latter Day Saints locations. Ten females were enrolled in a group exercise class while 17 were individual exercisers. The data was analyzed using a t-test for independent samples to determine if there is a significant difference in scores. There was not a significant difference in overall quality of life, environmental domain, and physical domain, but there was a significant difference in the psychological and social domains. Further research is recommended and benefits are detailed.
Studies in Coptic architecture are rare, for this reason, this book aims to enhance the understanding of Coptic architecture, to increase knowledge of this important part of the Egyptian heritage, in addition to preparing a solid ground for architects when designing Coptic Orthodox Churches. This is achieved through marking the liturgical service needs and requirements for the rites that tailored the church building. Analysis of factors that affected the church design, the existing civilizations, cultures and beliefs, historical architectural examples, and building materials, is undergone. Then, a study on the development of the church design chronologically is presented. Where there is architecture, there is definitely art, especially in buildings of a special nature like churches. The research studies the art in the architecture of the Coptic Church with its different themes, domains and symbols. An applied study is done by the analysis of some examples of contemporary Coptic Orthodox churches. These examples are chosen among urban churches not monastic. Finally, conclusions and recommendations for future studies are presented.

Counter-discourses express new and alternative views of the world, in contrast with more established discourses which embody mainstream values, norms, beliefs and attitudes.
